The Board of Directors for the Get Well Gabby Foundation helps us grow and fulfill our vision to find a cure for childhood cancer.
Carolynn Vogel – President
Carolynn.Vogel@getwellgabby.org
Carolynn holds a degree in Management from The Pennsylvania State University. After graduating she worked for several years in a supervisor and management role for several different companies. She left her corporate positions to take care of her children full time. She was very active in her community until her daughter Gabriella was diagnosed with a “rare” form of brain cancer. During Gabby’s cancer journey and after she lost her battle, Carolynn learned many new and interesting facts about childhood cancer. Some of the things that she learned were the lack of funding for childhood cancers, the lack of awareness that children get cancer, and the minimal amount of money that large cancer organizations give to childhood cancer treatments. Together with her husband they formed the foundation in memory of their daughter. They have vowed to fight for a cure so no other family has to go through what their family has endured. Carolynn currently resides in Delaware with her family.
John Vogel – Vice President

While John’s youngest daughter was battling cancer, he did all of the research regarding the best treatments, clinical trials, and treatment centers that would accommodate his daughter’s needs. John has also become the spokesperson of their family. He has communicated with local media regarding events that raise awareness for childhood cancer, as well as using social media to inform the world the raw emotions of what his family is going through.
